- Flat End – The most common style of filter. Both ends are flat. Typically used with DOE and Type 222 compatible cartridge filter housings, flat end cartridges are SOE with a flat plastic cap used for the seal.
- DOE – Double Open Ends – The most common Flat End cartridge. Both ends are open and flat
- Type 222 – Always open on one end and capped on the other (Single Open End) or SOE and two gaskets on the open end side to make for a better connection.
- Single Open End – One end is flat and open, the other is not
- Type 226 – or “sanitary cartridges”. Similar to Type 222, this style also has two gaskets on one end. The opposite end has locking fins to aid in proper installation. During installation, alined with the opening
- Spear – has a pointed cap. A bracket eliminates cartridge sway, maintaining a better seal. Type 226 cartridges may also have this end configuration.

The synthetic filter media is cellulose-free and contains no additives or binders which may cause foaming. Our thicker filter media capture and retain the more particles with higher aspect ration when compared to competitor’s thin, more rigid media types.

- Maximum water pressure – 40 psi.
